Buff Diss: Der Kreis

When I first saw this I thought it was on a footpath, and each panel was a paving stone.
But then I spotted the person standing at the top of the piece, and realised the scale.

When I first saw the riots it I felt incredibly dismayed. It worried me that it was so easy for people to be consumed in violence and destruction.
This gallery made me feel a bit better.
Definitely my favorite picture from last night’s Vancouver riots.

Wishful thinking indeed.

My grand auntie and uncle have moved into a retirement home or “aged care facility”, so a few days ago I asked if I could photograph them.
They’re both in their 90s and have been married for (I think) 62 years.
